We believe that the automobile can be an important learning tool to explore many of the major California Curriculum Standards. In order to bring the automobile directly into the classroom, we have developed several lesson plans that can be incorporated directly into your curriculum for the year. These packages will include videos, lesson plans, articles, reading lists, and activities to be used as you wish in your classroom. Each grade level is broken down into 5-6 themes that follow the California Curriculum Standards.

Available Teacher Resource Packages include:

K-2nd Grade- Kids on the Move

3rd-5th Grade- Community Building

Please indicate which grade you are teaching as we have specific lesson plans for 3rd Grade (Local History), 4th Grade (State History), and 5th Grade (National History)

6th-8th Grade- Manufacturing Mobility

9th-12th Grade- Driven by Design

The lesson plans will encourage students to connect more deeply with the California Curriculum Standards by exploring how the automobile was created, how it works, and how it has changed society.
