Hosts Charlie James (Funny or Die) and Laser Webber (the Doubleclicks) host an incredibly (trans)masculine evening of old-fashioned queer comedy. Expect some crooning, some comedy, some character, and a lovely evening of gender roles – in one way or another.

A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to Trans Families, which supports trans and gender diverse children and all those who touch their lives.

We suggest you dress up. Why not?

Hosted by Charlie James and Laser Webber

Griffin Kelly (HBO’s Book of Queer)

Sammy Mowrey (Adult Swim)

Jake Noll (The Gag)

Charlie James is a comedian and writer living in Los Angeles. He’s made videos for Funny Or Die and written for Points in Case. He hosted Second Rodeo, Soho House’s cowboy comedy show in West Hollywood, and UCB’s Conversion Camp, a queer variety show that converts one straight audience member to the homosexual lifestyle. Presently, he tweets jokes for Chicago’s Field Museum*. Check out Charlie’s recent appearance on Greg Hess and Holly Laurent’s MEGA, a completely improvised podcast satirizing the world of a fictional mega church. Each week, he posts new stand-up and absurd sketch videos to TikTok, @nonbinarycowboy. His work is most popular with gay daughters and their pets.

Laser Webber is a trans musician, performer, and author. His music “challenges the patriarchy, champions marginalized voices, and finds emotional resonance in everything from robots to breakfast foods.” He has toured the US, Australia, and Europe as front person of the Doubleclicks, and has racked up over 4 million Youtube views amongst their large and beautiful grassroots audience. Laser co-wrote the musical “Teaching a Robot to Love,” a sci-fi story about the trans experience, with E. Aaron Wilson. The musical’s concept album charted on Billboard and its sold-out, award-winning debut run took place at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival!
