Topanga and Hidden Treasures

Darrell Hazen started selling vintage clothing on Topanga Canyon roadside in the 70's. With enough savings, he opens the store right on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Since the 80's it has become a unique location where you never know what you will find inside.

Antiques, vintage clothing, film props... every trip is a discovery.  Hidden Treasures, the store name,  is hard to miss. The facade is full of interesting props and a place where you want to take a photograph. Just be careful because it is just around a bridge and half a block from the intersection of Topanga Canyon and Old Topanga Canyon Rd, a very busy intersection at the heart of the little town center.

The house has its own history and just like Topanga Canyon, it has been part of the socal history since the stagecoach days in the 1800's.  Canyon Bistro is around the corner and has a wine bar too. Topanga is a hidden place today that is just a short drive from downtown LA.

Hidden Treasures is located at 154 South Topanga Blvd. Topanga Canyon CA 90290, between Woodland Hills & Santa Monica.  15 minutes from the 101 Freeway, or 8 minutes from Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1).

From the 101 freeway, take Topanga Canyon Blvd. exit & head south - we're 15 minutes south from the 101 freeway/Ventura Blvd intersection.  We're just past Pine Tree Circle shopping center in the canyon & immediately past the 2nd traffic light in the canyon on your right.

From Pacific Coast Highway, turn onto Topanga Canyon Blvd. - we're 8 minutes up the road, on the right before the first traffic light in the canyon.
