Join us on Thursday, April 11 for a lively conversation with Jess Damuck on her latest cookbook, Health Nut, with renowned record producer, benny blanco and NYT Bestselling Cookbook Author, Molly Baz. In her latest cookbook Health Nut, Jess Damuck, author of the national bestseller of SALAD FREAK, shares her passion for cooking delicious and healthy dishes in over 100 inspired recipes. Health Nut is an ode to California filled with beautiful recipes to practice being intentional with what we eat — a Moosewood Cookbookfor the 2024 era. From smoothies to grain bowls, the classic hippie-era genre gets a playful and delicious update, amping up the colors, textures, and flavors, and adding her own innovations that challenge our expectations about what exactly healthy food can be.

Jess will be signing copies of Health Nut with complimentary snacks from Health Nut and drinks provided following the conversation. Health Nut will also be available for sale in the PRS Bookstore.

Jess Damuck: Jess Damuck is a recipe developer, food stylist, and the cookbook author of the newly released Health Nut and bestselling cookbook Salad Freak,and co-author of forthcoming Open Wide. After a decade working for the magazines and television shows as Martha Stewart’s food editor, producer, food stylist, (and personal salad maker), Damuck made the move to the west coast. Damuck landed in Los Angeles to focus on fresh, produce-driven cooking, indulge in more dinner parties, and spend time in her ever-growing garden. She continues to live in Los Angeles with her partner Ben Sinclair and their pups, where they have built a strong sense of a creative community in their neighborhood.

Molly Baz: Molly Baz is a 2x New York Times bestselling cookbook author of Cook This Book (2021) & More is More (2023), recipe developer, and video host whose number one goal in life is to convince the world that cooking is fun, and not that hard to do if you’re properly set up. When she’s not writing books, Molly hosts a subscription digital recipe club, The Club, where she drops new recipes weekly for her fans. When she’s not doing that, you can find her at home sipping on a glass of Drink This Wine (that’s her natural wine company!) in her butter-colored kitchen while filming her hit YouTube series, Hit The Kitch; a casual, never too serious but always educational cooking show. Molly lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their mini dachshund, named Tuna.


benny blanco: benny blanco is a Grammy-nominated artist, producer, songwriter—the genius behind his own multi platinum records as well as hits from Ed Sheeran, SZA, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Katy Perry and others, actor on FXX’s “Dave,” content creator responsible for two viral YouTube series—”Matty and Benny Eat Out America” and “Stupid F***ing Cooking Show” with longtime friend and collaborator Matty Matheson, and author. A lifelong food devotee, Benny discovered his passion for cooking as a teenager growing up in northern Virginia, commandeering his mom’s kitchen to make elaborate sandwiches for his friends. His first cookbook and guide to entertaining, OPEN WIDE, is out April 30.

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events, except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test.

In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.


Parking is available in both front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east) and back lot (entry from first alley way, off Griffith Park Blvd. from intersection with Los Feliz Blvd.), as well as ample street parking on Griffith Park Blvd.

  • We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.

  • No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
  • There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
  • We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
  • PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
  • Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.
  • Weapons are strictly prohibited at PRS events.
