Our Story:

Double Take Actors Collective was born out of the IAMA Actors Intensive in the summer of 2024. Our cohort decided we wanted to continue creating our own work and collaborating with one another. We have taken the themes and recurring lessons of our collective industry experiences to create and produce our first Short Play Reading!

The Production:

This reading centers around the ideas of reemergence, second chances, and releasing control. Much like our collective’s namesake, we are diving deep into rediscovering our goals and intentions as artists. We welcome you to join us in kicking off this new year with a collection of stories focused on new beginnings.

Fundraising:

Tickets start at just $10, which will help cover the cost of our rental space. However, our goal is to compensate the talented artists in our collective for their time and creativity, and continue producing meaningful work together. Any additional donations will go directly back into supporting Double Take Artist Collective, helping us sustain and grow our community of artists.
