Discover Wines
Sometimes we find something worth sharing. And the Michael Pozzan 2017 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines. The color seem a bit light for me, but good aromas of blackberries made it up. 2017 was a difficult year for the area since the fires literally change the weather of the valley. The grapes on this wine were picked the night before the fire started in the area. But the wine today has good tannin and finish. I could hint some smoke, or perhaps is my mind playing ? It went well with sausages and ribs. As an alternate to Napa wines , this one seems to be a bargain at $25. The 2018 should be on the store shelves now. I say try it.
